Parking at Gold Street
Posted or Updated on 5 Aug 2024
Parking at Gold Street Surgery is very limited and is intended for the use of patients with mobility problems while attending the surgery, doctors and surgery staff. Many of our staff live outside the immediate area and need to drive to work, or need their cars during the working day.
Parking at the surgery is becoming ever-more difficult and results in people being blocked in and near-misses in the car park. Clinicians and staff needing to visit patients at home or to travel for business reasons are often delayed by inconsiderate parking.
PLEASE, if you need to drive to the surgery, please use the 294-space Fairycroft Road (Waitrose) Car Park adjacent to the surgery, or other nearby parking. There is a pedestrian walkway direct to the surgery from the lower ground floor (shop entrance level) of Fairycroft Road Car Park. Disabled Parking spaces are available next to the walkway and are free to badge holders. There are also 30 on-street spaces in Gold Street 0900-1700 weekdays.
